TASTE OF CHINESE LUNAR YEAR 


 Children , children , dont be greedy ,
 the Chinese Lunar Year comes after 
 the Laba Festival.
 Children not only have new clothes , pocket money ,
 big meals but also light red latterns ,fireworks ,
 for the Chinese New Year .
 This is the taste of Chinese Lunar Year in my childhood .


 Dad , mum , dont be worried ,
 I  go home before the Chinese New Year＇s Eve ,
 with my wife and son ,
 having the big family dinner , talking with my parents ,
 listening to your stories .
 This is the taste of Chinese Lunar Year nowadays .


 What is the taste of Chinese Lunar Year to me now ?
 It is more than a big family dinner 
 but love to get together with family .
 It is more than a family part 
 but the best wishes to parents .


 As time goes by , 
 the taste of chinese lunar year in childhood 
 is becoming lighter and lighter 
 but the love to family is stronger and stronger .

    年的味道


 小孩，小孩，嘴别馋。
 腊八过后就是年。
 穿新衣，吃大餐，得压岁钱，
 点灯笼，燃烟花，放鞭炮。
 高高兴兴过大年。
 这是儿时的年的味道。

 爸爸，妈妈，心别急。
 孩儿三十把家回，
 携妻儿，带春礼，
 欢欢喜喜过新年，
 盼团圆，话思念，
 祝福二老身康健。

 年的味道是什么？
 不只是一顿团圆饭，
 不只是一次家庭聚会。
 更多的是父母亲情，亲人祝福。
 岁月如梭，儿时的年味越来越淡，
 唯有这颗爱家的心依旧，
 父母亲情越来越浓。
