 流光灯火铺江面，
 东方明珠刺云天。
 南来北往千百渡，
 大江东去不复返。

The flowing lights and fires sweeping the river ,
 so shining , so dotful .
the Oriental Pearl Television Tower standing upward
so high , so beautiful .
hundreds of ships coming down and up ,
the river is rushing eastward 
never to come back .
