译诗泰戈尔《吉檀迦利》八十三 中英文对照

原文；
       Mother,I shall weave a chain of pearls for thy neck with my
  tears of sorrow.
       The stars have wrought their anklets of light to deck thy 
  feet,but mine will hang upon thy breast.
       Wealth and fame come from thee and it is for thee to give 
  or to withhold them.But this my sorrow is absolutely mine own,
  and when I bring it to thee as my offering thou rewardest me with
  thy grace.

译文；
       妈妈，
       我要用我的忧伤之眼泪，
       串成珠链配在你颈间。

       繁星用他们熠熠的星光，
       织就诸多光之链，
       把你的双足来装扮，
       而我用我忧伤的眼泪织就的珠链，
       将会垂挂在你的胸前。

       财富和美名，
       全部都是来自你，
       给或不给全由你，
       然而，
       这可是我的忧伤，
       纯粹属于我自己。
       当我把它给你做献礼，
       你却馈我以慈悲。
