原文；
       When the warriors came out first from their master's hall,where
  had they hid their power?Where were their armour and their arms?
       They looked poor and helpless,and the arrows were showered
  upon them on the day they came out from their master's hall.
       When the warriors marched back again to their master's hall where
  did they hide their power?
       They had dropped the sword and dropped the bow and the arrow;
  and they had left the fruits of their life behind them on the day they
  marched back again to their master's hall.

译文；
       众武士，
       刚刚走出主人的大堂，
       他们的威力都在哪里藏？
       他们的盔甲在哪里？
       他们的武器又在哪里放？

       那一天，
       他们走出主人的大堂，
       他们无助又沮丧，
       箭矢如飞蝗，
       纷纷射到他们的身上。

       当众武士，
       鱼贯而返回到主人的大堂，
       他们的威力又在哪里藏？

       他们放下了宝剑，
       放下了弓矢和刀枪；
       平和之色却显在额头上，
       就在那一天，
       他们生命之中的果实，
       已被他们弃于身后方，
       那一天，
       他们鱼贯而返，
       回到他们主人的大堂。
