泰戈尔《吉檀迦利》八十七 中英文对照

原文；
       In desperate hope I go and search for her in all the corners of my
  room; I find her not.
       My house is small and what once has gone from it can never be regained.
       But infinite is thy mansion,my lord,and seeking her I have come to thy
  door.
       I stand under the golden canopy of thine evening sky and I lift my eager
  eyes to thy face.
       I have come to the brink of eternity from which nothing can vanish—no
  hope,no happiness,no vision of a face seen through tears.
       Oh,dip my emptied life into that ocean,plunge into the deepest fullness.
  Let me for once feel that lost sweet touch in the allness of the universe.

译文；
       怀着一颗几近绝望的心，
       我寻遍我房间的每一个角落，
       只是为了找到她；
       可我就是找不到。

       我的家那么小，
       一旦有所失去，
       便不可能复得。

       而你的广厦无边，
       我的主啊，
       为了找到她，
       我已来到你门前。

       薄暮之中，
       我立于你金色的苍穹下，
       抬起热切的双眼望着你的脸。

       我已抵达永恒之边缘，
       无可逃逸的永恒之边缘，
       不论是希望，
       不论是幸福，
       也不论是透过眼泪看到的朦胧的一张脸，
       同样的无可逃逸。

       噢，
       就把我空洞贫乏的生命，
       浸入那汪洋大海，
       投入最深邃的丰富无限。
       就让我在这厚地高天无所不包的广袤中，
       再一次感受到，
       那久已失去的美妙的融触。
