在宿舍过年
New Year's day in the dormitory{Celebrating(Have) Spring Festival in the Dormitory}

今天是年初一，也阴天
Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year,it is also cloudy sky
也许苍天也不高兴新冠肺炎的传染
Perhaps (Maybe) the blue sky is not happy with new crown pneumonia(the COVID-19) infection
要让人都在家里新过年
To make people celebrate(have the Spring Festival) the New Year at home(Let everyone has the New Year at home)

我没有出门，上街看人
I didn't go out and go into the streets to see(watch) people
真不如在宿舍读书、看电视更令人慰悦
Really it is not as good as reading, watching TV in the dormitory is more comfort(enjoyable)
见人越多，我就越想缄默
 The more people I see, the more I want to silence(to be silent)

想想朋友家捡回的一条流浪狗
Think of a stray dog picked up at a friend's house  
只喂养了三天，就让他们越来越欢喜
Only fed for three days, let them(they become) more and more joyful(After feeding it for only)
家里也就更多了欢笑，就像过年
And the family laughs more and more,just like the Spring Festival 

我把曾经感动过我的人事
I have ever touched my personnels(I once moved)
再回忆一遍，仿佛就让年也开心了一遍
Recall again, as if let year also happy again
无论在什么日子里，谁都想能遇见好心人
No matter what day, everyone wants to meet good people(soul)
