朽木不朽
Deadwood is immortal

一截朽木，不一定就是朽木
A section of rotten wood, is not necessarily the deadwood
如果它被春雨淋漓过
If it was dripped wet by the spring rains
在暖和的春光下
Under the warm splendour of spring
也许，它还会生菌、萌芽
Maybe(Perhaps), it will be born bacteria, bud

山上有不少枯死的树
There are many( a lot of) dead trees on the mountain
死而不倒，仍然屹立在原地上
Death to fail, still standing in situ
像沙漠里的胡杨，仍有模有样
Like the populus euphratica in the desert, still have the model
倔强着自己不屈的景象
Stubborn their own unyielding scenes

经雨打雨淋，鸟雀叫过
After the rain, the birds have called
它们只是长出簇簇木耳，像耳朵
They just(only) grow clusters of wooden ears, like(as the) ears
聆听着，风声、雨韵和鸟语
Listening to sound of the wind, the rain rhyme and bird’s songs
对上帝，由衷的申诉或叙说
To God, heartfelt appeal(complaint) or narrative
