爱尔兰诗人叶芝受到法国诗人龙萨的启发，写了情诗《当你老了》，献给他终生追求的一位女性──毛德•冈。在抒情之中使爱情获得了升华，超越了时空。我受他们的启发，创作了这首同题诗歌。

当你老了，满脸皱纹，满头白发，
也许，你自己都不愿再照镜子了。
但是，你是我那棵永远开花的树，
枝叶青青，枝头上开满了花朵。

还记得吗？那晚我发自肺腑的诗句，
感觉到了吗？揣着的爱心依旧火热。
爱的河流，从那时流淌，荡起层层碧波，
你知道吗？那是我唱给你的不变的歌。

冬天，你如果寒冷的话，请告诉我，
我就化作春风，温暖着你，梳梳你的头发。
给你带来春雨，滋润着你的脸，
你永远是青春的模样，粉红的颜色。

When you are old, wrinkled and gray,
Perhaps, you don't want to look in the mirror.
However, you are my forever blooming tree,
Branches and leaves are green, in full blossom.

Do you remember the poem from my heart that evening?
Did you still feel that the love is hot? 
Love flows from the time, swinging layers of blue,
Do you know that is the eternal song I sing to you?

In winter, if you feel cold, tell me, please,
I will turn into the spring wind, warm you and comb your hair.
Bring you spring rain and moisten your face,
You will always be young, with a pink look.
