白沙软银衬天衣,
涛声依旧,
风展入圣殿,
一盏一斗一丘,
烟痕尘事诉春秋。
《The Silken Silver Blanket》
By Yu Shiyi
The snow-white beach lies like a silken silver blanket,
Stretching beneath the clear, cloudless sky.
The waves’ rhythmic roar upon the shore——Unchanged, from time immemorial to today.
A gentle breeze drifts softly,Into the sail-shaped hall standing by the sea.
In hand, a cup of fresh tea and a pipe,Before my eyes, a tiny world of mountains and waves.
Within the curling wisp of smoke,No need to speak of mortal troubles;
Just listen quietly to the waves’ murmur,Telling the tales of seasons passing, years on years.
