园中竹一片，
     高耸入云烟。
     节节勇上攀，
     傲立风雪寒。

     秋竹迎冬寒，
     独立心志坚。
     我欲做秋竹，
     笑傲天地间。
 
AUTUMN  BAMBOO

In the garden ,
a land of bamboos ,
poles  touching the sky ,
joints advancing upwards
upstanding in the snowstorm  .

Autumn greeting the cold winter,
independent and determined .
I＇d like to be an autumn bamboo,
laughing in pride to the world .
